How long can I drop my kids off at the White Birch KidZone?
Parents must accompany their child(ren) while they are in the KidZone.
Chili Fest is a family-friendly event and the KidZone is meant to provide
entertaining activities for the children, but it is not drop-in child care.
For your child's safety, we ask that you remain with them while they sample
the games and activities provided by White Birch Community Center.
Can we bring our dog?
Sorry, no pets allowed. You will not be admitted with your pet, unless it is an
authorized Service Animal. This is for you and your pets' protection due to the large crowds.
Where does the money raised go?
In addition to providing cash awards to the top amateur chili makers, the money raised
at Chili Fest goes back into the community supporting a number of local non-profits,
providing scholarships to high school students going to college and contributing to
International Humanitarian and Service projects that are part of the Rotary International
Mission, such as polio eradication and pure water for the world.
How are the winners selected?
We have a Celebrity Panel of 3 judges who determine the top three winners in each division.
You will be casting your ballot for the Peoples' Choice Awards in both the professional
and amateur divisions. Best Booth Display will be judged by honorary judges selected by
